| NEW! Balanced Literacy Framework | |
K-2 & 3-6 have separate Balanced Literacy Frameworks. The full documents are ready under the LA Elementary file section on this page, labeled NEW! K-2 BLF or NEW! 3-6 BLF. Currently, under the webpage section, a page is under construction that will contain lessons for each structure. Remember, our Balanced Literacy Framework is made up of stuctures which vehicles for reading, writing, speaking and listening instruction. For example, Guided Reading is a structure.
Balanced Literacy Frameworks mini-workshops are underway! Each workshop provides a model as to how a structure should look in the classroom. Specific information is listed below:
